Meet Our Founder
Vashlee Williams is the proud owner of The Cake Studio, a home-based bakery in San Pedro, DFC. From a young age, Vashlee developed a passion for baking, inspired by the cooking and baking shows she watched with her mother. Throughout her adolescence, she enjoyed baking for family and friends, though she never considered turning this hobby into a business.
In 2021, following the birth of her child and in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, Vashlee faced financial challenges. Despite having limited resources and starting without even a basic hand mixer, she launched bake sales within her community. Through determination and perseverance, she gradually saved enough to invest in the essential supplies and tools needed to enhance her baking.
Without formal training in baking or cake decorating due to time and financial constraints, Vashlee taught herself through hundreds of YouTube tutorials and extensive trial and error. The first two years were marked by challenges and moments of doubt, but by the third year, she began receiving consistent orders, signaling the growth and success of her business.
Vashlee is immensely grateful for the overwhelming support she has received from family, friends, and loyal customers across the country. As she continues to develop her skills, she remains committed to creating beautiful and delicious cakes that bring joy to all her clients.
